I don't know if many people are following/anticipating this game, Gentille Alouette is an incredibly important game to me. It's a game I started making around 2018 when my life was in the darkest point it has ever been in. 

This game is made from all the traumas and things that I went through and is full of feelings that I was coming to terms with. Now that it's been many years and I've escaped the people and situation that caused me to make this game in the first place, it's been hard to obsess over this game like I did years before, which was essentially a kind of therapy for me. Creating these characters from myself, getting to know them, giving them my own problems and working out how they could fix them.

This game and it's characters helped me work through a lot of problems and overall helped me become who I am today.  One day I want to make a video about that.

But there are a lot of things that I want to fix up, things that are kind of pointless to the "message" of the game. I want every aspect to relate to me and there are just some things that don't (the biggest change will be the getting rid of the Jackle sisters in the beginning and their father entirely, sorry kids, maybe I'll give you your own story another time  TT_TT). I want to make things clearer...now that I know how I want it to end (or continue).

I was going to take the demo down but I'll leave it up, since it will take me nearly forever with this "update" . I've been so busy with my youtube channel (and working on PPB Reboot) that poor Alouette has been left sleeping in his shell (he's alright with this), and I know it will take a while to have time for this game. 

But I do want to take my time with this game, I don't want to rush something out. I want this story to be mysterious, elegant, tragic and vague (like Revolutionary Girl Utena) but to also feel "right" to me. Overall this game IS for me, me and the person I used to be, for the past me that I didn't take care of.
