It's inspired by a game called "Your Boyfriend" but most of all "Doki Doki Literature Club" which, when I played it on my own "that scene" scared me/affected me so strongly that I wanted to recreate that (but quickly, so the other guys didn't get a chance to shine).
I'm so glad you figured out the letter thing early, I was worried it would take all the key words and still not be clear. Vincent's story was definitely one I loved writing, there was supposed to be a whole bunch of puzzles but that was taking too long to figure out so.
You pretty much have the lore right, Lillian Hwong is the CEO of the Bureau who tragically lost her husband Maximillion Sharp...but also her son Vincent (gasp!). Lily (not Lillian) is Vincent's (in simulation) mother but a vastly different woman than the real Lillian, a "Fake Lily" you might say (referring to Ashton talking about Chinese Lillies on his garden date)
One other small spoiler, I kinda felt bad for Ash saying the players name(user name) because some people don't use their real name or don't like it, so, if he does it in Reboot, he's gonna ask for permission!
If you don't already know, I'm actually a youtuber who plays various visual novels and it is also very fun and silly. It's funny that there are usually some problems with sprites in the garden.But the blush disappears somewhere where Ash says something about Ashino!And the same old bug, but it disappears somewhere after 3-2 dialog box aaand... I got laid when I clicked on a date with Ashton on cross dates...And I'm a little confused about how to get past the true end of Ashton...I just dug through the files and saw that he is..? And so I really liked John's new photos!! And sorry for my English, I'm actually Russian hehe..

I I played the reboot first and it was so good! I think I understood everything that was going on even without playing the first one. I've wanted to play for a long time with my macbook and I just found out I could just play the reboot!

i gotta say, loved the characters! they all have a defined personality and the routes makes you connect with them all (ofc og ashton is still my fav) but i have to admite i even ended up liking Ashino a bit, I did all the possible routes (i think) and... the love you put into this project is, just, wow i can see the love behind it!. although... I realized that you can't go back to the glitchy cafe with Ashton once you take a decision after one route so you can't unlock all the photos, will this be something left for the end of the game along with the true ending? I can't wait for the end! giving you all my support, truly <3 !!!

god, i love this game so much. my only issue is the save files, there is a plugin that comes with a video guide to help install it. so save flies won't be so scarce and small, as well as coming with more features than that whether or not you pick the free one or paid one. (it's on itch.io also, pretty great)
god, I've played both of the games and i have to admit. the only reason why i liked the reboot more than original was because it expanded the characters so much than i thought it could have. both versions of Ashton (greens) art wise are wonderful and the newer art enhanced his design and features, didn't know if you'd change his design or not. but I'm happy you didn't, and just added more them instead.
Kadsey and Vincent are my second favorites, not just because of the dynamics they have with each other and the other characters. but their stories got me in the feels that they're more than what people think of them and man. just thank you for making this wonderful game.

First of all, I LOVE ASHTON! The "real" Ashton. Okay, I see how some people might like Ashino after hearing his backstory, but, I can't forgive him because of his goals.
Second of all, while I love the game, having to get everyones True End again in the completed version without a skip button is going to be tedious, since I'm basically going through a LOT of old dialogue again. But, I'll do it for Ashton. Did I mention I love Ashton? I hope the player and Ashton have a wedding in his True End, that would be so cute!
This is honestly the best dating sim that I've ever played, and I've played quite a few. And that says a LOT since it isn't even finished. You have talent as a writer and artist, you truly do. I will remember this game fondly years into the future. Thank you for such an amazing, beautiful experience, and thank you so, so much for creating my favorite character in the world - Ashton!

I'm super surprised that so many people DID like Ashino, I purposefully made him the anti Ashton, but he still has his charms.
I know going through all that dialogue every update is a pain, there are a few skips that become active after a first date but it's still a lot. I'm hesitant to make a BIG skip option but maybe I will. That's one of the downsides to using RPG Maker over Renpy (which I'm learning). If it helps you can hold down SPACE or LEFT click or ESC to go through dialogue quickly.
I'm getting close to finishing this game and I couldn't be more excited and a little sad, thank you so much for playing my little game!
Oh PPB:Reboot is a whole game, it's technically a sequel because the characters reference what happened in the first PPB game (I kind of regret calling it "Reboot" cuz a lot of people get that impression but the word "reboot" kinda makes sense for the story)
The main difference is that now you can date the characters that you couldn't in the first game and learn a lot more about the Bureau who made the game.

No problem! I keep getting Kadsey's route (3 times exact, which i'm fine with.) did eventually get to the other's thankfully, enjoyed everyone's nearly evenly, mainly Vincent's though. Classy guy.
I added the ability to choose anyone else after you do the test once, it was so annoying to do it over and over in the first game! Vincent's was my favorite to write, I'm glad you liked it!
No, I am American, I just got really into learning French for a game I started making YEARS ago (it's called Gentille Alouette and there's a small demo on here), and the word "Espoir" began to mean a lot to me.

I love the characters' development and especially the secret yandere ending's! i have one small question on the message behind the cross date photo's, i have been trying to solve this since yesterday but i always end up at nothing! Could you give some tips on how to solve this?
Ah I can see how it could be really difficult, let's see, it's saying something about "a thing" you received "from someone before" and to put "that thing" in the WWW folder in THIS game. I hope that helps! I also have a quicker way around it/spoiler explanation in the walkthrough text that you can download too!

It's a very good game, ( i love it and have "brainworms" ) i've been invested in the story, characters and i find Vincent's and Kadsey's routes specially fun, i think i've done/seen almost everything possible ( so far since it's not the full game yet ) but, i have a question...
I've seen people talk about the secret green Ashton part, i read the hints txt, ( i'm a mac user unfortunately ) and since the first game isn't on mac i tried to make That One File, and put it along with the other game files. So far this doesn't work ( i've been trying for 2 days ) so i wonder if it's because that "function" only works on windows, or it's just something that hasn't been added on the mac version, or maybe there's another different way to get the green Ashton on mac? i'm not sure, sorry if it's a dumb question, and also sorry if this sounds weird, english is not my first language.
Not a bad question at all! I'm very sorry, and I really have no way to test a Mac version of the game. I think I could TRY to make one but the code I used to read if the special file is there might not be the same language as a Mac, so I don't know if it would work.

To get Ashton back you need to have seen "Chad" Ashton's True ending, to get to that you would need to date all 4 guys and do their cross dates with chad Ashton to unlock all HIS photos. (some cross dates aren't finished but they should unlock once you try to do them)
So after Chad Ashton tells you his big plan and you go back to the beginning, you'll need something from the FIRST Picture Perfect Boyfriend game, a certain something that Ashton leaves behind for you. Put "THAT" in the "WWW" because it's a small piece of him that he left for you♥
Ashton's dates aren't all the way finished yet, like choosing to go to the garden isn't finished, but I've been told going to his room is really nice, I hope you get to see it!

*EXCITED NOISES* I'm so glad you had fun! I fully understand about Kadsey, he gets extremely emotional and worse, impulsive, but he's a little self aware so he knew he wasn't actually going to kill "you" (still a jerk move tho). Vincent's I think came out the best, I like that I was able to give him a kind of emotional arc that even left ME in tears while writing it!
I'm always supersized when other people say they LIKE Chad Ashton (we call him Ashino which is "Ash In Name Only") I wrote him to be incredibly obnoxious and unlikable, so I;m kinda glad he's just mid. He knows he's insulting you but also feels a little jealous of Ashton. And yup, he rigged the survey at the end so no matter what, the Bureau will think you chose him, or, that you chose "Ashton" at least hehe. I would like to actually have a counter as to who the player really liked the most but there's not much room to fit that in.
Sorry about the skipping, unless there's a plugin for that all you can do is hold down the SPACE bar or the left click, and especially sorry for Kadsey's mini game, it does get annoying but I really wanted to keep it in. (I've been trying to think of a way that Ashton could help the player win it faster). In some casing I have an option to skip parts, like the beginning of John's route but yeah it feels like a lot to go through.

Hey! Played your game awhile ago with everything that was in there, and I am in LOVE with all of your characters! They’re all so cute and have actual personalities instead of the generic stereotypical ones you see a lot. I can’t wait to see the full game!
EEEE♪ Thank you so much!! Not to say that other VNs are generic but I really wanted my characters to have their own lives, opinions, problems, and personalities that still worked together. In most mainstream VNs all the love interests have basically the same face and body, I wanted characters that looked different and appealed to different people too. That's also another reason why only Ashton is REALLY into the player. I'm getting really close to finishing it actually and my heart is so full from all the wonderful people who've enjoyed this game!
Decided to add a comment since my brain is still running through all of that, but man, I love Kadsey's routes in particular (especially the bad end, surprisingly enough, to the point that I might draw a little something about that, but don't expect anything like that too soon). He has a super interesting position in the story, knowing the same things we do but not the information that Chad Ashton can provide.
I really enjoy the lore going on in this sequel, and actually getting to know the other guys this time around. Ashino's first date genuinely made me nervous, which was something. Regardless of my visceral kneejerk reaction of rejecting him on sight, I was still interested to see what he's all about and the answer is Menacing.

No prob! And I totally get Kads' likeability being a concern because of something like that. I think it really helps that there's an obvious degree of separation between the avatar that interacts with the characters in game and us, the player. It kind of reminds me of the fourth wall shenanigans from Earthbound, where Tony basically refers to us as "you behind the controller" since we're clearly not Ness himself. Also, a certain character's reaction to Kads' actions later, since the bad end is necessary for a specific pic, also helped.
And yeah! I remembered hearing something about the secret ends before playing so, after doing each route my own way, I went back while consulting the walkthrough to make sure I specifically got those. Funnily enough, on both Kadsey and John, I was like 2 answers away from the yandere ending for each (granted, for John, I slipped up and pressed enter right when the option to flirt or not popped up so that was a bit of a whoopsie where I didn't even actually get to see what that option even was until my next round through).
And thanks! I'll definitely tag you whenever it actually happens and I might also toss in a character-themed nail polish look because I have way too many nail polishes in general and love an excuse to do some funky theming. lol

Hiya! Played your game and absolutely loved it, but there's a thing I don't really get in the walkthrough (uh, spoilers ahead I guess). The thing is about "once Ashton's 2 dates are finished etc. etc.", does that mean he has two dates? How do I get another one then? I just really want to see everything this game has to offer. So with Ashton (with yellow eyes) his second date which takes place in the garden isn't done yet, to get that he makes it very easy for you, you choose either his room, which is one date, or the garden, which is another.
Ashton with red eyes however won't make it easy, you just have to be persistent, that is after you've dated him once.

I don't know if this is something that's meant to happen or if it's like...a glitch? but occasionally i'll have a chunk of text that just flies through without giving me time to read it. It's happened in every route so far and is heckin' Annoying ; x ;
I know you can speed up text by holding down the left mouse button or the space bar but that may be a glitch I haven't encountered (yet). There ARE some times where a tiny bit of text will automatically fly by because a character is avoiding a question but I tried to make that not so often.
Thank you so much!! For Kads' first photo you need to give him the bear toy, and for the third, you would leave him to the crowd after you chose what food you'd like. HOWEVER, they don't have actual images drawn yet so a place holder image should show up in the photo room saying it's unlocked. However, however, I DID do several quick updates to fix small things and you might need the newest version. If none of that works please let me know, and thank you again for playing me game!!
After you chose what food you'd like, and a crowd comes by, leave Kadsey to the crowd. The actual picture isn't drawn yet but it should activate the switch and have a place holder image anyway, please let me know if that's not the right one!
I just left a lengthy comment on the original so I don't want to retread old ground, but I love your way of storytelling so much! I think locking Ashton is a great way to get you to care about the other leading boys (If you were hesitant towards them) and it just is a bonus that makes your reunion with Ashton sweeter! I really enjoyed how none of the boys necessarily WANT to romance you. Kadsey's routes were very standout to me, because even as rude as he was, how could I be upset with him when he’s grieving and being gaslighted by his entire world? (It was hard handing over the shark plush when I first saw it. I think the way the world building is delivered is also very fun! The fact that the game is still a demo and some things don't work/aren't implemented yet or just get buggy also made the experience that much more charming to me, lol. Although it's based on the yandere VN trend, I was super worried people would think it's too "tame" but I wanted it to feel like these were real guys with "real -ish" problems that the player could help them through and grow closer to , AND with a semi wholesome happy ending. I just checked and that is the "bad end" picture (which is sadly not drawn yet), you would get that one by not giving Kadsey ANY of the stuff toys you can win, I hope that helps!
Hello, I had a little problem getting the last photo of Vincent (bottom row, second(version 2.5)). I looked at all the choices, went through with the Walktrough, but for some reason it doesn’t work, despite the fact that in version 2.3, I somehow managed to do it :_)

If it's the second row that has 3 possible photos then that is a "cross date", the middle/second one is a cross date you would unlock by choosing to date Vincent and going to the Carnival location. BUT please let me know if it still doesn't work or if that's not the one you mean, I'm still fixing things up!
FRIEND AND I PLAYED 2.2, 2.4 VERSION IN A SEVEN HOUR LIVESTREAM. Did we have fun?? Yes. Did we cry?? Unfortunately. Are we scared for the next update?? YES....
There is so much positive feedback that I want to give but there's no way I could fit it all, or else I'd be here for eternity (Ashino ref *cries*). FIRST OFF John's and Vincent's stories... they were so wonderful, I'm so so happy for both of them! Secondly, Kadsey... DID WE CRY? YES. MOST DEFINITELY. My friend and I have been waiting since the dirty demo, and we could not be more satisfied...! We believed in him!! He is met with our utmost pride!! And that's just putting it plainly!
There's a reason I saved Ashino and Ashton for last... mg... the former devastated us but the latter reassured us so wonderfully. Ashino made us feel mad things...!!!!!!!!!! Can't even describe how he made us feel (punch punch...?)... we bullied him but we were so quickly put into the dirt. I think we deserved it ToT
ASHTON DATE... the most tears were shed (but it was 3am-). His long awaited return was worth it. So proud of him, so proud of all the boys... but ants in our pants for the finale, darn Ashino! We already endured so much pain!! >:/
BUT ANYWAY in summary... we were entertained ALL the way through. We felt suspense and had breather moments; the intensity was there. Bug-wise! While we played, the game didn't crash a single time (2.4!). However there is one thing I'd like to mention -- Ashton's still does disappear toward the end of his date! Other than that, I can't really think of any other bug! All photo placeholders function and all the dates and routes can be played through in their entirety!
So so so proud of you Espoir, I hope you had fun making this game because we had fun playing it. IT WAS A ROLLERCOASTER. Virtual hugs... we are so proud of the boys but we are proudest of you, queen!! Thank you so much!!

It's inspired by a game called "Your Boyfriend" but most of all "Doki Doki Literature Club" which, when I played it on my own "that scene" scared me/affected me so strongly that I wanted to recreate that (but quickly, so the other guys didn't get a chance to shine).
I'm so glad you figured out the letter thing early, I was worried it would take all the key words and still not be clear. Vincent's story was definitely one I loved writing, there was supposed to be a whole bunch of puzzles but that was taking too long to figure out so.
You pretty much have the lore right, Lillian Hwong is the CEO of the Bureau who tragically lost her husband Maximillion Sharp...but also her son Vincent (gasp!). Lily (not Lillian) is Vincent's (in simulation) mother but a vastly different woman than the real Lillian, a "Fake Lily" you might say (referring to Ashton talking about Chinese Lillies on his garden date)
One other small spoiler, I kinda felt bad for Ash saying the players name(user name) because some people don't use their real name or don't like it, so, if he does it in Reboot, he's gonna ask for permission!
If you don't already know, I'm actually a youtuber who plays various visual novels and it is also very fun and silly. I I played the reboot first and it was so good! I think I understood everything that was going on even without playing the first one. I've wanted to play for a long time with my macbook and I just found out I could just play the reboot!

i gotta say, loved the characters! they all have a defined personality and the routes makes you connect with them all (ofc og ashton is still my fav) but i have to admite i even ended up liking Ashino a bit, I did all the possible routes (i think) and... the love you put into this project is, just, wow i can see the love behind it!. although... I realized that you can't go back to the glitchy cafe with Ashton once you take a decision after one route so you can't unlock all the photos, will this be something left for the end of the game along with the true ending? I can't wait for the end! giving you all my support, truly <3 !!!

god, i love this game so much. my only issue is the save files, there is a plugin that comes with a video guide to help install it. so save flies won't be so scarce and small, as well as coming with more features than that whether or not you pick the free one or paid one. (it's on itch.io also, pretty great)

god, I've played both of the games and i have to admit. the only reason why i liked the reboot more than original was because it expanded the characters so much than i thought it could have. both versions of Ashton (greens) art wise are wonderful and the newer art enhanced his design and features, didn't know if you'd change his design or not. but I'm happy you didn't, and just added more them instead.
Kadsey and Vincent are my second favorites, not just because of the dynamics they have with each other and the other characters. but their stories got me in the feels that they're more than what people think of them and man. just thank you for making this wonderful game.

First of all, I LOVE ASHTON! The "real" Ashton. Okay, I see how some people might like Ashino after hearing his backstory, but, I can't forgive him because of his goals.
Second of all, while I love the game, having to get everyones True End again in the completed version without a skip button is going to be tedious, since I'm basically going through a LOT of old dialogue again. But, I'll do it for Ashton. Did I mention I love Ashton? I hope the player and Ashton have a wedding in his True End, that would be so cute!
This is honestly the best dating sim that I've ever played, and I've played quite a few. And that says a LOT since it isn't even finished. You have talent as a writer and artist, you truly do. I will remember this game fondly years into the future. Thank you for such an amazing, beautiful experience, and thank you so, so much for creating my favorite character in the world - Ashton!

I'm super surprised that so many people DID like Ashino, I purposefully made him the anti Ashton, but he still has his charms.
I know going through all that dialogue every update is a pain, there are a few skips that become active after a first date but it's still a lot. I'm hesitant to make a BIG skip option but maybe I will. That's one of the downsides to using RPG Maker over Renpy (which I'm learning). If it helps you can hold down SPACE or LEFT click or ESC to go through dialogue quickly.
I'm getting close to finishing this game and I couldn't be more excited and a little sad, thank you so much for playing my little game!

Oh PPB:Reboot is a whole game, it's technically a sequel because the characters reference what happened in the first PPB game (I kind of regret calling it "Reboot" cuz a lot of people get that impression but the word "reboot" kinda makes sense for the story)
The main difference is that now you can date the characters that you couldn't in the first game and learn a lot more about the Bureau who made the game.

Ah I can see how it could be really difficult, let's see, it's saying something about "a thing" you received "from someone before" and to put "that thing" in the WWW folder in THIS game. It's a very good game, ( i love it and have "brainworms" ) i've been invested in the story, characters and i find Vincent's and Kadsey's routes specially fun, i think i've done/seen almost everything possible ( so far since it's not the full game yet ) but, i have a question...
I've seen people talk about the secret green Ashton part, i read the hints txt, ( i'm a mac user unfortunately ) and since the first game isn't on mac i tried to make That One File, and put it along with the other game files. So far this doesn't work ( i've been trying for 2 days ) so i wonder if it's because that "function" only works on windows, or it's just something that hasn't been added on the mac version, or maybe there's another different way to get the green Ashton on mac? i'm not sure, sorry if it's a dumb question, and also sorry if this sounds weird, english is not my first language.
Not a bad question at all! I'm very sorry, and I really have no way to test a Mac version of the game. I think I could TRY to make one but the code I used to read if the special file is there might not be the same language as a Mac, so I don't know if it would work.

To get Ashton back you need to have seen "Chad" Ashton's True ending, to get to that you would need to date all 4 guys and do their cross dates with chad Ashton to unlock all HIS photos. (some cross dates aren't finished but they should unlock once you try to do them)
So after Chad Ashton tells you his big plan and you go back to the beginning, you'll need something from the FIRST Picture Perfect Boyfriend game, a certain something that Ashton leaves behind for you. Put "THAT" in the "WWW" because it's a small piece of him that he left for you♥
Ashton's dates aren't all the way finished yet, like choosing to go to the garden isn't finished, but I've been told going to his room is really nice, I hope you get to see it!

*EXCITED NOISES* I'm so glad you had fun! I fully understand about Kadsey, he gets extremely emotional and worse, impulsive, but he's a little self aware so he knew he wasn't actually going to kill "you" (still a jerk move tho). Vincent's I think came out the best, I like that I was able to give him a kind of emotional arc that even left ME in tears while writing it!
I'm always supersized when other people say they LIKE Chad Ashton (we call him Ashino which is "Ash In Name Only") I wrote him to be incredibly obnoxious and unlikable, so I;m kinda glad he's just mid. He knows he's insulting you but also feels a little jealous of Ashton. And yup, he rigged the survey at the end so no matter what, the Bureau will think you chose him, or, that you chose "Ashton" at least hehe. I would like to actually have a counter as to who the player really liked the most but there's not much room to fit that in.
Sorry about the skipping, unless there's a plugin for that all you can do is hold down the SPACE bar or the left click, and especially sorry for Kadsey's mini game, it does get annoying but I really wanted to keep it in. (I've been trying to think of a way that Ashton could help the player win it faster). In some casing I have an option to skip parts, like the beginning of John's route but yeah it feels like a lot to go through.

Hey! Played your game awhile ago with everything that was in there, and I am in LOVE with all of your characters! They’re all so cute and have actual personalities instead of the generic stereotypical ones you see a lot. I can’t wait to see the full game!

EEEE♪ Thank you so much!! Not to say that other VNs are generic but I really wanted my characters to have their own lives, opinions, problems, and personalities that still worked together. In most mainstream VNs all the love interests have basically the same face and body, I wanted characters that looked different and appealed to different people too. That's also another reason why only Ashton is REALLY into the player. I'm getting really close to finishing it actually and my heart is so full from all the wonderful people who've enjoyed this game!
Decided to add a comment since my brain is still running through all of that, but man, I love Kadsey's routes in particular (especially the bad end, surprisingly enough, to the point that I might draw a little something about that, but don't expect anything like that too soon). He has a super interesting position in the story, knowing the same things we do but not the information that Chad Ashton can provide.
I really enjoy the lore going on in this sequel, and actually getting to know the other guys this time around. Ashino's first date genuinely made me nervous, which was something. Regardless of my visceral kneejerk reaction of rejecting him on sight, I was still interested to see what he's all about and the answer is Menacing.
I'll be excited to see how future updates go.

No prob! And I totally get Kads' likeability being a concern because of something like that. I think it really helps that there's an obvious degree of separation between the avatar that interacts with the characters in game and us, the player. It kind of reminds me of the fourth wall shenanigans from Earthbound, where Tony basically refers to us as "you behind the controller" since we're clearly not Ness himself. Also, a certain character's reaction to Kads' actions later, since the bad end is necessary for a specific pic, also helped.
And yeah! I remembered hearing something about the secret ends before playing so, after doing each route my own way, I went back while consulting the walkthrough to make sure I specifically got those. Funnily enough, on both Kadsey and John, I was like 2 answers away from the yandere ending for each (granted, for John, I slipped up and pressed enter right when the option to flirt or not popped up so that was a bit of a whoopsie where I didn't even actually get to see what that option even was until my next round through).
And thanks! I'll definitely tag you whenever it actually happens and I might also toss in a character-themed nail polish look because I have way too many nail polishes in general and love an excuse to do some funky theming. lol
That scene you mentioned was so much fun to write, hehe, I'm glad I got the sprites to move just like how I planned!

Hiya! Played your game and absolutely loved it, but there's a thing I don't really get in the walkthrough (uh, spoilers ahead I guess). The thing is about "once Ashton's 2 dates are finished etc. etc.", does that mean he has two dates? How do I get another one then? I just really want to see everything this game has to offer. Sorry if it's a dumb question, English is not my first language so the struggle is real lol

So with Ashton (with yellow eyes) his second date which takes place in the garden isn't done yet, to get that he makes it very easy for you, you choose either his room, which is one date, or the garden, which is another.
Ashton with red eyes however won't make it easy, you just have to be persistent, that is after you've dated him once.

I don't know if this is something that's meant to happen or if it's like...a glitch? but occasionally i'll have a chunk of text that just flies through without giving me time to read it. It's happened in every route so far and is heckin' Annoying ; x ;
I know you can speed up text by holding down the left mouse button or the space bar but that may be a glitch I haven't encountered (yet). There ARE some times where a tiny bit of text will automatically fly by because a character is avoiding a question but I tried to make that not so often.

Thank you so much!! For Kads' first photo you need to give him the bear toy, and for the third, you would leave him to the crowd after you chose what food you'd like. HOWEVER, they don't have actual images drawn yet so a place holder image should show up in the photo room saying it's unlocked. However, however, I DID do several quick updates to fix small things and you might need the newest version. If none of that works please let me know, and thank you again for playing me game!!
After you chose what food you'd like, and a crowd comes by, leave Kadsey to the crowd. The actual picture isn't drawn yet but it should activate the switch and have a place holder image anyway, please let me know if that's not the right one!
GAME SPOILERS AHEAD!!!
I just left a lengthy comment on the original so I don't want to retread old ground, but I love your way of storytelling so much! I think locking Ashton is a great way to get you to care about the other leading boys (If you were hesitant towards them) and it just is a bonus that makes your reunion with Ashton sweeter! I really enjoyed how none of the boys necessarily WANT to romance you. Kadsey's routes were very standout to me, because even as rude as he was, how could I be upset with him when he’s grieving and being gaslighted by his entire world? (It was hard handing over the shark plush when I first saw it. But I had already pocketed the bear for my own so It was the best I could do to be even with him) I also think it’s funny that Ashino was noted as not as appealing as the others because he had no flaws, because it was seeing his horrific anime shrine room that made me fond of him. "I'm not obsessive" he says. I've seen your Kadsey shrine man. You're not better than your counterpart! I also thoroughly enjoyed seeing how John and Vincent's routes meshed together. I think the way the world building is delivered is also very fun! The fact that the game is still a demo and some things don't work/aren't implemented yet or just get buggy also made the experience that much more charming to me, lol. Overall, just another wonderful experience! I hope this has read as a clear opinion instead of as rambly as it feels. Once again, thank you for making this game and publishing it! Knowing my track record, I'm really excited to check out your other game next! Your art style, Character Writing and World building are all elements I enjoyed greatly here, so I'm excited to see more of your work! THANK YOU SO MUCH! I can honestly say that PPB is the biggest project I've ever done and I don't have the words to explain how happy it has made me that people enjoy my characters and story. Truly, you and all the players and fandom have helped me make this game as good as it is and I am so very grateful! Although it's based on the yandere VN trend, I was super worried people would think it's too "tame" but I wanted it to feel like these were real guys with "real -ish" problems that the player could help them through and grow closer to , AND with a semi wholesome happy ending. I just checked and that is the "bad end" picture (which is sadly not drawn yet), you would get that one by not giving Kadsey ANY of the stuff toys you can win, I hope that helps!
Hello, I had a little problem getting the last photo of Vincent (bottom row, second(version 2.5)). I looked at all the choices, went through with the Walktrough, but for some reason it doesn’t work, despite the fact that in version 2.3, I somehow managed to do it :_)

If it's the second row that has 3 possible photos then that is a "cross date", the middle/second one is a cross date you would unlock by choosing to date Vincent and going to the Carnival location. BUT please let me know if it still doesn't work or if that's not the one you mean, I'm still fixing things up!

FRIEND AND I PLAYED 2.2, 2.4 VERSION IN A SEVEN HOUR LIVESTREAM. Did we have fun?? Yes. Did we cry?? Unfortunately. Are we scared for the next update?? YES....
There is so much positive feedback that I want to give but there's no way I could fit it all, or else I'd be here for eternity (Ashino ref *cries*). FIRST OFF John's and Vincent's stories... they were so wonderful, I'm so so happy for both of them! Secondly, Kadsey... DID WE CRY? YES. MOST DEFINITELY. My friend and I have been waiting since the dirty demo, and we could not be more satisfied...! We believed in him!! He is met with our utmost pride!! And that's just putting it plainly!
There's a reason I saved Ashino and Ashton for last... mg... the former devastated us but the latter reassured us so wonderfully. Ashino made us feel mad things...!!!!!!!!!! Can't even describe how he made us feel (punch punch...?)... we bullied him but we were so quickly put into the dirt. I think we deserved it ToT
ASHTON DATE... the most tears were shed (but it was 3am-). His long awaited return was worth it. So proud of him, so proud of all the boys... but ants in our pants for the finale, darn Ashino! We already endured so much pain!! >:/
BUT ANYWAY in summary... we were entertained ALL the way through. We felt suspense and had breather moments; the intensity was there. Bug-wise! While we played, the game didn't crash a single time (2.4!). However there is one thing I'd like to mention -- Ashton's still does disappear toward the end of his date! Other than that, I can't really think of any other bug! All photo placeholders function and all the dates and routes can be played through in their entirety!
So so so proud of you Espoir, I hope you had fun making this game because we had fun playing it. IT WAS A ROLLERCOASTER. Virtual hugs... we are so proud of the boys but we are proudest of you, queen!! Thank you so much!!
